Hi Valdemar
yes i like your blog too! I am one of the mobworkspace bloggers! keep up the good work

So you are one of the mysterious mobsters....Its fun do discover jewelleryartists and their work in a different arena then in a studio or in a gallery (often very snobbish and sometimes very frightening). Its also fun to see what happens "down under". I cant say Im with the australian jewelleryscene. But constant visits to your blogs and to galleries like Fingers and Funaki keeps me updated regarding that I live on the other side of the globe.
Dont you guys have winter right now? Im sitting in the shade with a really red face praying for a cloudy day.

Yes some galleries can be intimidating I agree- especially when you have to show them your own work and hope that they do not reject you! In our workspace we've only been blogging since earlier this year - it is so much fun and you get to feel more connected to your more populated hemisphere. and it is great to see all the new jewellery a craft blogs like yours popping up everywhere.

we are now in winter of course but it never gets too cold in Brisbane. You must try wearing a hat to keep the sun off like we do down under!

The hat is top priority. But it has to be stylish of course. Im thinking about getting a panama hat. It is both
timeless and classy. The only problem is that i dont know where to find one.
Im going on vacation to Poland in two weeks. Im shure Poland is full of cool hats. Dont they seem like hat people? Mabye not, you and the americans are definetly hat people and I cant forget
the mexicans with their sombreros!
Iknow hwta you mean about the galleries. Once I walked straight into one and showed them my portfolio with huge confidence. What I didnt know was that it was a very upperclass members only gallerie with no intensions what so ever to exibit my stuff. But after some weirds looks they looked at my work and they liked it alot. I guess you have to take chances and just go for it. You have to belive in yourself (oh here it comes.....) cause if you dont now one will.:)
With those well put words a wish you a good night and a lovley winter!..but wait what about christmas!!??!?!? do you celibrate that in the summer?
Thats CRAZY!

valdemar- you've obviously got more guts than i have to walk into the posh galleries with open heart and soul! good on ya! hope you find the perfect hat in poland. strange how people don't wear hats much in europe- i think we were the only people in 30+ deg heat wearing hats in croatia last year and everyone looked at us like we were complete freaks. and we don't really celebrate xmas over here- those that don't make it to tasmania in time slowly melt into puddles and try to move quickly from one airconditioned venue to the next. enjoy your summer!
