Sea Jewels Wrecipe

I've been going quietly insane making sea jewels earrings, my cow money.
Yeah it's repetitive and time consuming but I do love finding new colours and textures of glass and different shapes and pulling them out of my tumbler. Then trying to find matching pairs is especially therapeutic. I wouldn't miss the drilling and polishing though.
I also love using the labels I made for them.

They remind me of the original photo - a super holiday with friends doing some synchronised swimming...

My friends mum just came back from greece with nothing but seaglass she had collected - an amazing collection, I bet you could do something beautful with them!

Can you guess the bums?

sea glass is on the way out tragically - people becoming more prissy about smashing bottles at the beach.
i know who the bums are and it is not what you might expect....all i'm sayin is that i can do a pretty mean underwater handstand.
ta shannon i haven't had a properly printed business card since 2002. it could be time to make the $100 commitment and go with the wrecker logo...

Your delightful sense of humour can be seen even from the beginning.

I say yes to the Wrecker Logo, still waiting for my T-shirt and badge.

Thankyou florence!
Liana, I cannot think of a good reason why I am not toiling away making badges right this very moment. Oh yeah that's right- I just remembered that I have a life!
Well actually I was going to farm the wrecker badgemaking job out to mobworkspace. on a week when i am away. far far away.

Dr. Shango suggests, wrecker banana cake to quietly reduce insanetitis.

Tell me, please confess! when you look outside and, preferably focus on things, after hours of 'wrecking', how or what do you see?

Hi Rebecca - I found your website through a magazine. Its wonderful to browse around the site and one day I hope to buy an item of jewellery. Keep up the good work!!

thanks shama- hope you do buy some jewellery of mine one day!
shango, after wrecking all day my focus can become very narrow and utilitarian - always looking at the potential uses of things and missing the whole. helps to get stuck into some gardening or a novel. or just be in the studio with my supportive and fun jewelling buddies.
